I know that St. Paul's leaves for camp this weekend. Cindy LOVED camp. She always loved the outdoors. Camping was one of her favorite things. And she loved God. Not to mention she loved teaching and working with kids. So camp was right up her alley and combined a bunch of things that she loved. I never got to experience camp with her, but she would come home with great stories. She also was really energized from camp. I was just thinking of that this morning.
I haven't heard anything new yet. Ryan and I are going down this afternoon after we drop the kiddos of at my mom's house. I will write more about how she is doing. Keep praying that the Herceptin does something, anything. Thanks for reading.
Cindy did Love camp so much. She was my Sr. Counselor the first year I was a Jr Counsler at camp. The way she would interact with the kids, pray over every bed before they came and every kid at night after they went to sleep was such a blessing to see. Cindy is one of the reasons I want to be a teacher. To be able to have a small percentage of the passion for kids and teaching that Cindy has would be a huge blessing and success.
ReplyDeleteI love you Cindy and I'm praying, praying, praying for you.
Love you Kelly Clan.
As my household prepares for camp, Cindy is on everyone's mind. She has been such a blessing there for so many...and not just the kids, but for the staff as well. Her love for the kids really showed through, and "Mama Kelly" brought so many children to Christ through her loving example.
ReplyDeleteMissy, thanks for the blog - we know it's difficult to do, yet so many of us are following Cindy's progress through it. Know that your family is being held in the prayers of many.

She was very inspiring. I know with my kids, she was amazing. I can't even think of their lives without her.
ReplyDeleteNot a big deal at all Scott. I feel helpless, but maybe this helps.
How right you are! After God and her family, camp is probably Cindy's favorite thing! It was the one area we aren't alike! It's awesome to think of how many lives for God's kingdom Cindy touched through camp.
ReplyDeleteMissy, this blog really helps--thank you so much. I love the stories and the pictures. Your writing is comforting and inspiring...and we keep praying.
